Networking for God's Kingdom

ImageGod has given the members of His body different gifts, talents, passions, personalities and life experiences.  We need one another to make the biggest impact for God’s Kingdom that we can.  Because we are different, when we work together, we accomplish much more than when we work separately.  YCT prays that Christ's body, which is united by one spirit, will work together with a common mind to serve the Kingdom.

As we engage in cross-cultural relationships, we exchange ideas for effective ministry, learn new truths, challenge and encourage one other and build lasting friendships.  In addition, there are many from the West who desire to serve some of the world’s poorest people.  We want to create an opportunity for them to come and engage in ministry that suits their gifting.

We are working to create strong local and international connections with individuals, ministries, pastors and institutions. We need everyone’s unique combination of gifts in order to accomplish what the Lord has set before us.  We cannot build the necessary structures without laborers; train leaders without teachers, provide health care without doctors and nurses, or combat poverty without economists.

Our doors are open to anyone who wants to serve in Kenya.  We will work with you to create a program that suits your gifts, talents, passions, and personality.  If you are interested, please e mail Sammy at This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it   Please include your name, length of time you wish to serve and what you would like to do during your stay.

Karibu sana Kenya (You are very welcome in Kenya)!

Why network locally?

ImageThe local needs are great, we need to come together if we are to meet every type of need. We cannot build necessary structures without workers, we cannot train without teachers, we cannot provide health care without doctors and nurses, we cannot combat poverty without economy specialists, we cannot do much without those willing to serve or give support, etc.
  • to encourage one another
  • exchange ideas for effective ministry
  • learn new truths,
  • challenge each other, and
  • to become exposed to–and aware of–the different local opportunities to serve God.
As an example, YCT is always encouraged when we join forces with other groups of young Christians.

Why network internationally?Image

  • The body of Christ faces different challenges in different parts of the world.
  • Cross cultural strengths and perspectives.
  • We are working to build a worldwide kingdom of God regardless of our origin.
  • Together will we experience more of Christ's fullness as our differences compliment each other.
  • All will benefit as we invest in one another.
  • God has placed a desire in the hearts of many western Christians to serve those in greatest need across the world. Networking with one other opens up opportunities.
  • it also helps open our eyes and hearts to different realities of life.

Our doors are open to anyone who wants to serve in this part of the world. Many people who do not personally know Christ want to lend a hand to the world's most poor and destitute. We want to aid you in your efforts to help. We would love to work with you to meet the needs that you want to meet and to help those who you want to help. If you want to come and dig wells for those in need of clean water, we would love to help set up your volunteer time. If you want to help finance the construction of a school or orphanage, we can help with that as well.

ImageTogether we can do more! God has given you unique talents, passions, resources, perspectives, and a unique personality. You also have weaknesses, struggles, and things to learn. Please consider networking with us so that Christ's church can function fully and so that God will be glorified. If you feel lead, please check out our information about Visiting Short-Term Missions Teams or Ministry Covenant Partners. We would also love to hear from you if you have any questions or if you have any other ideas about how we could network together.
