VISIONARY/FOUNDER
Evangelist Samuel Njiru was called to ministry at the age of 16. Evangelist Samuel Njiru has reached thousands of people in his home country–Kenya–as well as other nations with the transformational gospel of Jesus Christ. He has teamed up with other ministries in order to more effectively reach the world for Christ. Samuel Njiru has been passionately reaching out to people in different ways. These ways include large open-air meetings (Crusades) and school ministry, both public and private high schools. He also supports local ministries and churches in the area of evangelism and discipleship. His major emphasis is raising people to a level of spiritual maturity so that they will live fruitful lives on earth in ministries that are relevent to their generation. This emphasis is clearly seen in the YCT mission statement: “To share the love and fear of God to the youth/young adults worldwide for the purpose of building a heavenly bound generation that will attract others to love God and fear Him in our world today.” The ministry he leads–Youngsters for Christ Team–has undergone tremendous spiritual and numberical growth. Its growth and impact has captured the attention of many Nairobi citizens. YCT trusts that many will be reached with Christ's message of good news, not only from the pulpit but also through other relevant approaches such as evangelistic medical camps, food and clothing distribution to the needy, etc.
He is married to Charity Njiru and has been blessed with a daughter named Jada Jalon Njiru. He has training in leadership skills, counseling, and bible interpretation. He has also served with Campus Crusade for Christ (CCC) in Kenya. He is also a member of the YCT Board. Website:
